Surge Protection

How can surge protectors do the job?

The live wire or main power line in a surge protector includes an additional linked connection that feeds into an earth cable. An earth cable’s purpose would be to direct any additional current safely to the floor. The surge connection from the protector remains inactive until a bigger than normal voltage seems. This excess current is then safely diverted through the extra earth wire, directly into the ground. This averts more current than ordinary from flowing to your appliances effectively making sure they are protected from any harm which can be caused by power surges.
